I am thankful for a wonderful, stress-free day.
I am thankful for the opportunity to spend that day with people who have become my family.
I am thankful for casual evenings and long, late chats with the aforementioned family.
I am only slightly bitter that there's STILL no snow on the ground.

I had dinner with parishioners who were from the east, one from PA and the other NJ. They were commenting how odd it was not only missing snow, but when it was 70+ degrees out. Thanksgiving air should be crisp, with a hint of frost. Mulled cider should feel wonderful, as would a roaring fire in the fireplace.
